Tourism Challenge

Please note:

  1. The Tourism Challenge in Langley City is a Neighbourhood Day Out Scavenger Hunt, providing 3 stamps. This challenge is intended for tourism industry staff who have a Tourism Challenge passport.
  2. The stamping station for this Scavenger Hunt is located at Cherry Pick Vintage (20450 Fraser Highway #100, Store Hours are: Monday to Friday from 12pm–7 pm, and Saturday + Sunday from 11 am–7 pm). They will check your answers to the four clues before you receive your stamps.
  3. All businesses in Downtown Langley remain open during the revitalization on the Fraser Highway One-Way road. Please see the Downtown Langley Business Association website for more information and to view the map of where to find free and accessible parking.

Can You Find Me? Scavenger Hunt

Hello! I’m the logo for Discover Langley City. Today, I’m going around Downtown Langley, the heart of Langley City, to visit a few of my favourite businesses. Come spend a day with me!

Starting at the beginning of the Fraser Highway one-way road in Downtown Langley, follow the clues to find my four favourite businesses to visit. When you see me in the window of any of the businesses (like the “Can You Find Me?” sign shown), be sure to keep track of where I’ve visited. Once you find me four times, head over to Cherry Pick Vintage to collect your stamps.

CLUE #1

My day in Downtown Langley starts with a delicious cup of coffee and a sweet treat to kickstart the day. My favourite thing about this COZY cafe is the amazing sweets and pastries that are freshly made from scratch every day. It’s almost like a warm hug, and I feel at home every time I come here.

CLUE #2

I am at my favourite marketplace to buy some locally made goods to support local artisans and businesses. There’s something about this store that every time I go in, I want to buy everything because there are so many cool things here. Plus, I get to make my own DIY candle!

CLUE #3

Next up, I am buying a delicious pie to take home. The pies here are incredible! They have so many different flavours, both sweet and savory, so I am going to try something different today. I wonder which one I should pick!

CLUE #4

Finally, a shopping day isn’t complete without new books to read. This hidden bookstore has so many finds from new to second-hand books, and I often find my inner bookworm coming out while browsing through the aisles.
TIP: Want a shortcut to this amazing place? Cut through McBurney Plaza!
