One of our greatest advantages is that many of “must-see and do” activities are all within a 5 minute drive, or even better- a 10 minute walk!  We’ve put together some of our favorites things to do from a variety of tastes, to make your stay with us easy and stress free! Let us do the work for you. Here in Langley City we are all about simple pleasures.  Which itinerary will you start with first?

MURAL WALK TOUR

Grab your camera and take a self guided tour throughout Langley City to check out 17 stunning, hand painted murals from local artists.  The tour will start you off at Timms Community Centre, along Douglas Crescent, through Douglas Park, Salt Lane, McBurney Plaza, finishing up along the Fraser Highway one-way where you can grab a bit to eat and shop afterwards!

GET OUTSIDE

Bring your comfy shoes! Choose to spend your day on the golf course at Newlands, or take a walk through the gorgeous Sendall Gardens, Brydon Lagoon and the nature trails.  Burn off some energy with the family at Penzer Parkour Park, or grab a coffee and walk through the city to check out the amazing Murals painted around town.

When your day is coming to and end, there’s no better place than Langley City to unwind with colleagues, friends, and family!  Happy Hour is the perfect time to gather on Restaurant Row, head over to Cascades Casino, Cactus Club or Browns Social House for all their yummy and refreshing beverages and snacks.

SUMMER EVENTS

Summer in Langley City has never been more fun! July and August are filled with iconic events such as Arts Alive and the McBurney Plaza Summer Series.  These and the other events are fun for the family in the daytime with some 19+ adult only events in the evenings.  If you love live entertainment, food, arts & culture, and music-  these events are the place to be!

COFFEE AND CHILL

There’s no better way than to start your morning off with a fresh cup of coffee, latte, americano, or cappuccino.  Most of our 13 coffee shops are locally owned with a rustic, cabin atmosphere featuring leather chairs, fireplaces, and specialty wood tables.  Many also use fair-trade, organic beans and serve freshly baked goods and desserts.  You may just come back for your afternoon cup!
