Carnavalito on the Road Langley
Carnavalito on the Road brings the vibrant spirit of Carnaval del Sol beyond Vancouver and into communities across British Columbia. Through music, dance, food, art, and cultural experiences, they create spaces where people of all backgrounds come together to celebrate Latin culture in an energetic and family-friendly atmosphere.
From live performances and delicious international cuisine to artisan vendors and community connections, every Carnavalito is designed to feel joyful, welcoming, and unforgettable.

The Spitfire Grill - The Musical
Winner of the Richard Rodgers Award, The Spitfire Grill is a heartwarming and uplifting musical about starting over, finding family, and the healing power of community. Percy, a young woman fresh out of prison, arrives in the small town of Gilead, Wisconsin, seeking a fresh start. She lands a job at the Spitfire Grill, a rundown diner owned by the tough but weary Hannah.
This production differs significantly from the film with its focus on friendships and with a much more hopeful ending.

Timms Walkway Gallery 2026 Artist Speaker Series
The bi-monthly speaker series at the Timms Community Centre with the Langley Arts Council offers people of all ages the opportunity to learn about and hear directly from the Langley Arts Council’s 2026 exhibiting artists featured in the Timms Community Centre Walkway Gallery. The next exhibition is by Kate Major.

Make Your Own Sushi Platter Set - Handbuilding Pottery for Adults
Unwind and get hands-on in Maker Cube’s adult-only pottery handbuilding class – no wheel required. You’ll play with clay and design a sushi platter set that’s uniquely yours.
This beginner-friendly workshop covers slab building fundamentals and key techniques like using templates, scoring and slipping, shaping clean edges, and carving in texture. You’ll also explore glazing and simple surface design so your set matches your style – from minimalist to wabi-sabi. By the end, you’ll have a three-piece sushi set.

Sausage Party Oktoberfest at Farm Country Brewing
The steins are polished, the sausages are sizzling, and the polka band is warming up — the Sausage Party is back at Farm Country Brewing in Langley for another year of Oktoberfest celebration, Bavarian style.
Join for a full day of German food, craft beer, and live music at Langley’s favorite Oktoberfest party. Dance along to live Bavarian polka from The Silver Stars, with two sets throughout the day from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

Ian Parker, piano with Brooklyn Wood, violin & Albert Seo, cello
Acclaimed for his expressive artistry and technical brilliance, Ian Parker takes audiences on a musical journey extending over centuries. The evening features Bach’s sparkling Toccata in D Major, Beethoven’s intimate Moonlight Sonata Op. 27, No. 1, Chopin’s poetic Ballade No. 4, and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
He will be joined by LCMS alumni violinist Brooklyn Wood and cellist Albert Seo to perform the dramatic Mendelssohn d minor piano trio.
