Pickleball Courts
The world’s fastest-growing sport named for a preserved vegetable, if you’ve never tried this fun and easy-to-pick-up game, we’ve got you covered! Langley City has two locations (Downtown Tactical Urban Park at 56th Ave and Fraser Hwy, and Douglas Park at 206th St & Douglas Cres) with multiple courts where you can practice, challenge friends, and just generally make a racquet. The crisp autumn air is the perfect opportunity to play your best without overheating, so stop by soon to make the most of the mild forecast!

Langley City Cycles
What better way is there to explore a place than by coasting along on two wheels? Head out for a brisk ride through the leaves, going out of your way to roll over each satisfying *CRUNCH*. By coasting along with the Langley City Cycles maps, you can choose between a 3km, 5km, and 10km cycling route to pedal through all the different locales of the city. Explore gorgeous nature routes where you can marvel at the changing colours of the season!

Newlands Golf & Country Club
One of Metro Vancouver’s top courses, the fall brings a whole new play experience for newbies and veteran golfers alike. The refreshing breeze coming in off the mountains, the vibrant colours, a calendar of rotating events and dinner menus. Whatever level you’re at, you’ll find plenty of opportunity to improve your game at Newlands, then celebrate the progress with a post-game round.

Downtown Langley Mural Walk
If the heat from the summer has you seeing in sepia tone, then it’s time to refresh your colour wheel! Langley City is chock-a-block with the work of talented local artists who make canvases out of concrete. Follow along with the Downtown Langley Mural Walk map to catch them all, but chances are you’ll discover a few while you’re already out exploring!

With kids back in school, they might need a bit of extra space to spend their energy! This adventure park has you covered for exciting ways to move, from a parkour course to a pump track and a biking area. A wonderful spot for families to get together, you’re sure to find yourself applauding somebody’s latest trick.

Who doesn’t love a good burger? During October, the competition is on, so come try the best of Langley’s grills as each participating eatery tries to outdo each other! Each has created a new featured burger for the occasion and guests can vote on their favourites based on three categories: Best Tasting, Best Presentation, and Most Unique. Take a tour through a few of the delectible options—you’ll be surprised by how creative the chefs are.

The Breakfast Room
This tasty morning spot is for serious fast breakers only; if you’re expecting to roll out of bed over-easy around noon, you will have already missed one of the area’s great feasts! Service runs from 6-11 am on weekdays, and 6-10 weekends, peak time for a refreshing autumn stroll. After indulging in signature dishes like crème brûlée French toast and soufflé pancakes, it might feel good to take in a bit of movement and explore the falling leaves.

Hungry for a true West Coast dinner? Specializing in showcasing the incredible flavour of local ingredients, Chef Turkstra and his team are artists of cuisine. Their fall menu makes the most of the harvest with area produce served at the peak of ripeness.
